When the Stars Gossip Episode 1 Review

Just watched the first episode of “When The Stars Gossip” and I have to say, it’s off to a solid start!

The show features Gong Ryong (Lee Min-ho), a quirky obstetrician-gynecologist, who visits a space station as a tourist. He meets Eve Kim (Gong Hyo-jin), a Korean-American astronaut, and sparks fly. Their chemistry is undeniable, and it’s fun to watch their interactions in such a unique setting.

The space station backdrop is refreshing and adds a cool sci-fi vibe to the typical romantic comedy formula. The special effects and visuals are on point, which makes the whole experience feel immersive.

I was pleasantly surprised by how natural and charming the leads are together—Lee Min-ho’s awkwardness and Gong Hyo-jin’s charm balance each other perfectly. The dialogue was light and funny, with some touching moments that gave me a good sense of their budding connection.

Definitely intrigued to see where this goes in future episodes. If you’re a fan of rom-coms with a unique twist, I’d say give it a try!
